Drop Off a Repair or Alteration (Detroit)
Schedule a 15-minute appointment to drop off your items. We'll agree to an approach and I'll provide an estimate. I may contact you once I start your items if there are any further decisions to make, like choosing thread for a visible mend, fabric for a patch, or updating the estimate. I will contact you when they are ready for pick up. Payment due on or before pick up date.
Mail In a Repair
Not local to Detroit? Fill out this form to send me your mending. I will follow up with you to get more details and we’ll decide on an approach together. Once we're confirmed, I'll provide my P.O. Box. Be sure your items are clean and include a note with your name, phone number or email address, and return mailing address. Payment will be due before I mail back your item.

A note about alterations: I work from my home studio and do not offer fittings at drop-off appointments. If you know what alteration you need, please pin or mark the item yourself, or tell me specifically. If you need a fitting, send me an email and we’ll coordinate.
Pricing
Every item is unique, and pricing varies based on construction, materials, and the approach we choose together. The prices shown are minimums, meant to give you a general idea of potential costs. If you don’t see something listed, just ask!
I’ll always provide an estimate for each item, and will contact you if I need to update my estimate once I get started.
Repairs
Patches and machine darns: $15 - $35
Visible mending/darns (by hand): 25+
Seam repair: $10+
Pocket repair: $35+
Button or hook replacement: $5 ea/ up to $25 per garment
Zipper replacement:
Pants/denim: $20
Skirt/dress: $15
Jackets: $30+
Replace zipper pull: $10
Lining repair: $15+
Replace lining: $50 - $100

Simple pants: $15
Complex pants: $20+
Blind hem: $25
Skirt/dress/top: $25+
Taper sleeves/pant legs: $20 - $35
Waist adjustment: $20 - $35
Crotch or seat adjustment: $25 - $35
